Answer: Yes. But you must be able to perceive a forced whispered voice in ONE EAR at not less than FIVE FEET with or without the use of a hearing aid. If you fail the whisper test, you will be referred for an audiometry test and pass that to receive your certificate. You will not be recharged for your exam. If you have hearing loss can avoid this delay by getting a hearing aid to wear for driving and bringing it to the visit.
